Earn an additional teacher mini-grant if a student in your class places in the video contest!

Teacher mini grant prizes include:

1st place: $100 Amazon gift card
2nd place: $75 Amazon gift card
3rd place: $50 Amazon gift card

To earn a $100 mini-grant for classroom supplies:

1. Complete the classroom portion of the lessons.
2. Assign the online homework exercises.
3. Distribute the Water Conservation Kits to students.
4. Confirm that 80% of students complete the online student questionnaire.
5. Complete the online post-program evaluation at tinkerteach.com/lonestargcd/teacher-evaluation.
6. Return the postage-paid return envelope located in your teacher folder with the following:

-Student thank-you letters
-Teacher thank-you letter on school letterhead

The $100 mini-grant is based on verified completion of each task above. It will be emailed to you within three weeks of the date you submit your post-program evaluation.

Pre Assessment

1. From the Student Portal, direct students to the Introduction.

2. Navigate to the Preprogram assessment.

3. Confirm each student successfully completed the Preprogram assessment.

Register Students

1. Provide students with the unique Student Enrollment Code provided in your registration email and above. This code associates you with your students. Do not share with other teachers.

2. Direct students to tinkerteach.com/lonestargcd and click Students Register.

3. Confirm each student successfully enrolled in your online teacher portal.

Distance Learning Instructions

This unit can is designed to be used for traditional learning as well as distance learning. Follow the steps below to administer for distance learning:
