We are pleased your child’s class is participating in Idaho Power’s EnergyWise Program! This energy education program supports what students are learning in the classroom, and it’s designed to teach students about energy in your community and why it’s important to use it wisely and responsibly.

The take-home Energy Efficiency Kit your child received contains products specifically selected to encourage energy savings at home.

Here’s how you can help support and reinforce concepts taught at school:

• Work with your child to use the items in the kit to conduct the assigned experiments.
• Ensure your child records the results in the online student survey.
• Reinforce energy-saving behaviors at home.
• Encourage your child to participate in the online photo and video contest for a chance to win prizes.

When students complete the experiments and the student survey, their teacher can earn a mini-grant for much-needed classroom supplies.

Not every school or family has this opportunity, so please help support your student’s classroom and school. The program is free for teachers, students, and families, and the survey will only take a few minutes of your time. Thank you!
