What We Need from You:
- Teach at least two program lessons, including, one locally focused water lesson and the “Water Conservation at Home” lesson

How It Works: After completing the classroom lessons, you’ll distribute one kit to each student. Student Contests!
Our student contests and challenges are a fun way for learners to showcase their creativity and knowledge while earning fantastic rewards. Whether it’s through artwork, videos, or completing activities in the online program, students can engage with water conservation topics and have the chance to win amazing prizes. It’s a great way to motivate students to dive deeper into their learning and make a real impact!

Student Artwork Contest
Students are encouraged to create a drawing focusing on the importance of the community using water responsibly. Examples of topics include outdoor water conservation, water use behaviors, and protecting our aquifers. The winner will have their artwork showcased on next year’s kit and receive a $25 Amazon gift card prize.

Student Point Challenge
As students progress through the online portion of the program, they earn points for each action completed and recorded in the web application. All students who earn 6,000 points will be entered into a drawing for a $50 Amazon gift card!

Student Video Contest
Students are encouraged to create a video to teach their peers about what they learned. Example topics include subsidence, water conservation, water use behaviors, and groundwater. There are two options for video submission and prizes. Here are the details:
- (1) Students create their own video and submit it.
- (a) Student entries are submitted via the student portal located in the web application.
- (b) $25 Amazon gift card prize for the winner
- (2) You can create a video with your class and submit via email to h2olab@tinkerteach.com.
- (a) The winning prize is an end-of-the-year pizza party.
