Welcome to the Energy Education Program

Your student’s class is participating in an exciting Energy Education Program! This supplemental program supports what students are currently learning and aligns with CDE Standards. The program is designed to teach students about energy in our community and why it should be used wisely and responsibly. It also includes the opportunity to earn a mini grant for your student’s classroom and a chance for your student to win an iPad mini or FitBit Charge.

However, they can’t earn these without your help! Please support your student in their journey to learn how to use energy responsibly. Your student has been asked to conduct experiments at home and record the results in an online questionnaire. Completing the experiments and the questionnaire will:

• help your student’s classroom earn a mini grant for much-needed supplies; and
• ensure your student can participate in the online activities with his or her classmates;

Not every school or family has this opportunity, so please help support your student’s classroom and school. It does not cost you a penny, only a few minutes of your time.
